Somewhere in Mississippi ...
We see this crazy thing they've painted on the wall of their shop. This is the bible belt. Jesus. Forever. American flags - everywhere! What a trip ... The sign shows two stick figures, a boy and a girl, painted in white ink, on the window facing outside. It says:
(Boy and Girl) = MARRIAGE.
Next one says:
(Boy and Boy, Girl and Girl) = ABOMINATION.
(And I say) Um. Whoa. Do people really think like this?? Do they really preach love and kindness and practice something else, like intolerance?? I mean, what year is this?? The 1700's?? gee whiz, people, get a grip ...
And if there ever was a Jesus, he said, "LOVE is the way ..." Y'know? This means LOVE, however defined: boy-girl, girl on girl (yes!), donkeys, whatever. Respect and tolerate everyone, bitch! Or at least try your damdest! Totally surreal ...
