Hey, I didnt know you were going to post my Fishbone story on your klog thingy. I have a much better one that I would have told you. Once when I was 17 I went to see Fishbone in Columbia Mo.(I found out later that the $8 tickets that Brian Craig sold to me and about 10 other people were actually free. Still waitin' to get him back for that one). I had just gotten caught skipping school that day and suspended for two days and my mom let me go to the show anyway, so that made it even cooler. Anyway we're in there just jammin' out because Fishbone just blows you away live and about an hour into the show Angelo the singer just stops the band in mid song. He starts pointing to two folks sitting about 3rd row center and asks into his mic "Why in the hell are you all sitting on your asses? You aint even bobbin' your heads back and forth like the white boys sittin' next to you!" So he looks at the drummer who starts playing this crazy funky ass grove and then the rest of the band just start jammin with him while Angelo goes running off the side of the stage and comes back with this bucket. He takes the bucket motions to the folks on the front row to watch out and hurls the contents of the bucket,(water), on the folks that are just sitting there and it just drinched them and they shot straight out of their seats. He then said, "Well that got you up off your asses did'nt it". Needless to say, those folks did'nt sit down for the rest of the show.
